Starting as a young engineer, Brandon Mason caught the tail end of the glorious era of all-analog recording while on-staff at legendary Bearsville Studios twelve years ago. There he learned from and worked alongside many of the most influential recording artists and producers in the music industry. He has since gone on to produce and/or mix releases by a wide range of artists, including Secret Machines, The Zutons, VHS or Beta, New Order, Dar Williams, Joan Baez, Shivaree,Martha Wainwright and Don Byron.
His recent expansion into film music production started with the Grammy-nominated soundtrack to Across The Universe. The Runaways, Public Enemies, Tropic Thunder, The Tempest and Never Let Me Go soon followed.
