Mark's mastering career began in 2000 when he was hired by Sony Music Studios as an assistant mastering engineer. While actively assisting many of the senior engineers, Mark was also trained in the art of vinyl cutting and became the go-to cutting engineer on many of the top vinyl releases during that time. In 2004, Mark's career jumped to another level when he was tapped by legendary mastering engineer Vlado Meller to be his full-time assistant. When Vlado joined Universal Mastering Studios in 2007 as well as Masterdisk in 2011, he insisted on bringing Mark so as to maintain a continuity of excellence and service. This partnership lasts to this day.

Mark mastering projects include albums by Neil Diamond’s “Home Before Dark”, Neon Trees’ “Habits”,  As Tall As Lions’ “You Can’t Take It With You”, High On Fire’s “Snakes For the Divine” & Favez’s “En Garde!”

Mark's involvement on Vlado's mastering projects has been complete and essential. Mark has partnered with Vlado on projects for Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beastie Boys, Jane's Addiction, Johnny Cash, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Weezer, Shakira, Michael Buble, The White Stripes, Andrea Bocelli & countless others.
