Ted Jensen is one of the world's
most in-demand mastering engineers, putting the finishing touches to projects
across virtually every genre of music. Ted brings a unique combination of
technical expertise and creative feel that allows him to constantly re-define
the sonic limits of CDs, DVDs, vinyl records and every other format he has ever
worked with.
After a stint as a hi-fi equipment designer with
Mark Levinson, Ted began his mastering career with Sterling Sound in 1976.
Almost immediately, Ted rose to prominence with a string of hits, including The
Eagles' Hotel California and Billy Joel's The Stranger.
Promoted to chief engineer in 1984, Ted has
spearheaded a number of proprietary developments that have kept
In 2003, Ted won a Grammy Award for the mastering
of the Album of the Year “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones. Other
classics mastered by Ted include The Police's Ghost In the Machine, Madonna's
Madonna, Dave Matthews Band's Under the Table and Dreaming, Marilyn Manson's
Mechanical Animals, Santana's Supernatural, Creed's Human Clay, Fiona Apple's
